 Installation of this heavy duty floor grate is easy. The drop-in installation style means just that. Place over the 4 x 8 floor opening and carefully drop in. That's all there is to having this heavy duty floor grille covering your exposed floor opening.

Also available are heavy duty registers, which have an adjustable damper to allow for complete air flow control.  

Regarding measurements:  Please ensure you are measuring the actual size of the floor hole into which this product will be placed.  Do not measure faceplate dimensions.  For example, if floor hole size is 4 x 8 inches, please purchase a 4 x 8 inch grille.  Faceplate dimensions are 5 13/16 x 9 13/16 inches. The thickness of the faceplate is approximately 3/16 of an inch. See enlarged photo above for grille details.

The 65 different sizes of floor air vent covers found in this category come from two different sources and vary slightly in shading depending on the size you are ordering. Please check color notation when ordering multiple sizes that will be used in the same room.
