Products Description
Active clay is a kind of adsorbent, which is made of clay (mainly bentonite) as raw material, after inorganic acidification treatment, and then washed and dried. Its appearance is milky white powder, tasteless, tasteless, non-toxic, strong adsorption, and it can absorb non-ferrous metals and organic matters. The air is easy to absorb water, and the adsorption performance will be reduced if it is placed too long.
Main functions;
1. Special adsorbent for oil and fat, mainly used for decolorization and refining of mineral oil, vegetable oil, animal oil, solid paraffin, fatty acid, high-grade ethanol and benzene; it is also a catalyst for some by-products of oil, catalyst for contact decomposition of gasoline, catalyst for organic synthesis, detergent and bleaching agent for oil and fat.

How to test
1.According to the content of impurities and thickness, ass proper activated bleaching earth, general usage 2% for oil heavy.
2.Gasoline and diesel generally don't need to heat, but sticky oil need to be heated, such as vaseline, engine oil, open fire and
steam is available. Generally heating to 105℃-110℃, reaction kettle in iron and add white earth in advanca, can prevent oxidation
of oil or composite.
TEST METHOD:
1) take 100g oil in the beaker.
2) put the beaker on heating equipment,heat the oil sample up to 120°C
3) measured 3-5g activated bleaching earth sample by electronic scale
4) put clay sample into oil,adding slowly by glass rod and stiring, agitate the solution magnetically and manually for 30 minutes
while the temperature being kept at 105 to 110°C
5) stick filter paper on funnel wall,then pour oil into funel,waiting for the result.as pic shows.
NOTE:
The activated clay began to lose gesso when temperature above 300℃,make the structure change of decolorization have influence.The
surface is very easy absorption of moisture,the water is high also influence decoloring effect ,and the catalytic performance.Pay
attention to prevent rain,moist,should be stored in ventilated dry place.
