The OptiX OSN 8800 is mainly deployed in national backbone networks, regional/provincial backbones, and some metropolitan core
sites.
Mid-range 10/40/100 GE platform for integrated OTN/WDM/SDH networking. Carrier-grade reliability with up to 8 Tbit/s capacity ideal for core networks and Metropolitan Area Networks in broadcast television, Smart Grid electric power, and transportation industries.
Advanced networking and management features include OTN grooming, long-haul WDM, Tbit/s cross-connection, OTN, and SDH support, and end-to-end monitoring and dynamic fault detection. Visual management interfaces simplify O&M and reduce TCO.
