Method of application
1. Prepare 200 ml of clear water (preferably distilled water), and add 10% sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide into the water to enhance conductivity. In this way, put the prepared solution into the closed chamber through the funnel, and adjust the inflation switch to make the water level in the two observation pools rise to the top of the pipeline at the same time.
2. Connect the positive and negative wires of the power supply to the red and black columns respectively, turn on the power supply and immediately see bubbles in the two observation tubes. After about 3-5 minutes, it can be observed that the volume of gas collected in the glass tube connected to the positive electrode is about half that of the glass tube connected to the negative electrode.
