The three-cylinder dryer is composed of three concentric but different diameter cylinders nested together, and they are interlocking. This special structure determines its capacity, so it is also called a three-pass dryer. The three-cylinder dryer can be optimally configured according to the size of the site, and use coal, oil, gas, biomass fuel and other energy forms to dry materials as needed. The three-cylinder dryer has a compact structure and a small area requirement, about one-half of the area occupied by a single cylinder with the same capacity. It has stable work, low energy consumption, high thermal efficiency, good material drying effect, and easy automation control and fewer operators.

5. The outlet temperature is low, which is conducive to the long use time of the dust removal equipment. It can be directly matched with the pulse bag filter.

6. Supporting wheels are used for rotation to replace the large and small gears. Stable operation.

7. The fuel can be adapted to coal, oil and gas.

From inner cylinder to outer cylinder, the three drums are all installed with lifting plates and spiral guide plates with different angles and spaces. According to thermal and mechanical principles, this structure can ensure that the dried material moves forward along the direction of the spiral guide plate under the action of gravity and thrust, and the material maintains sufficient residence time and sufficient dispersion in the cylinder. This results in sufficient heat exchange between the material in the cylinder and the hot air flow from the high-temperature hot blast stove. It solves the defects of small heat exchange area and low evaporation intensity per unit volume caused by the frequent wind tunnels in the section of conventional drying equipment.

The special three-cylinder structure makes the inner cylinder and the middle cylinder surrounded by the outer cylinder to form an own thermal insulation system. The heat radiated from the surface of the inner and middle cylinders participates in the heat exchange of the materials in the outer cylinders. And the final outer cylinder is in the low temperature end of the hot air flow, so the heat dissipation area and heat loss of the cylinder are significantly reduced. The three-cylinder dryer can make full use of waste heat, reduce heat loss, increase the heat exchange area, and greatly increase the evaporation intensity per unit volume of the dryer, thereby effectively increasing the heat utilization rate and reducing energy consumption. So its thermal efficiency has been greatly improved.
