Menthol crystal natural(Daily Flavor,Food Flavor)
Menthol, is a terpene, the main component of peppermint and peppermint essential oil,exists in free and ester state, colorless needle-like crystal or granular. It is 8 isomers of menthol and their fragrance properties are different.L-menthol has aroma of mint and cooling effect. Racemic menthol also has a cooling effect, and other isomers have no cooling effect. They are often used in cosmetics, balsams, ointments, throat lozenges, toothpastes, mouthwashes, chewing gums, sprays, or cooling body products, shampoos, shaving creams and cooling gels. Because menthol crystals are concentrated products, only a very small amount of menthol is needed. The content of good menthol crystals usually contain not less than 99.4%.
