Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose (HPMC)is a type of non-ionic cellulose ether made from highly pure cotton cellulose materials
through a series of chemical processes. It is characterized by water solubility, water retention, nonionic, stability of the PH
value, surface activity,temperature reversible,gelling properties, thickening property, film formability, lubrication property
etc.

Application of Hpmc k100m
HPMC is widely used in building materials, coatings, synthetic resins, ceramics, medicine, food, textile, agriculture, cosmetics,
tobacco and other industries.
HPMC are mainly used for building materials
1.plastering mortar
High water retention can make the cement hydration. Apparent increase in bond strength. At the same time, the tensile strength and
shear strength can be improved at the same time
2.Waterproof putty
In the putty cellulose ether is water retention, adhesion and lubrication,to avoid excessive water loss lead to cracks or shedding
phenomenon,while increasing the adhesion of putty,reduced in the construction of the sagging phenomenon,make the construction more
smoothly, and the labor is saved.
3.Interface agent
Used as thickening agent, can improve the tensile strength and shear strength, improve the surface coating, and enhance the
adhesion and adhesion strength
4.Exterior insulation mortar
Cellulose ether in these materials key binding, increase the intensity,to make the mortar more easy coating,improve work
efficiency,also has anti hanging ability,higher water retention performance can prolong mortar work time,improve resistance to

from mechanical damage,and avoid the negative effect of water infiltration to the whole building.
7.Self leveling material
Viscosity of cellulose ether stability ensures the good mobility and self leveling capability, control of soil and water
conservation rate to enable it to rapid solidification, reduce the cracking and shrinkage.
