POLY ALPHAMETHYLSTYRENE(AMS RESIN)
Pure monomer resin(AMS RESIN) is a kind of water-white, transparent, high stability, high thermodynamic stability, synthesized by polymerization of pure pump oil family petroleum polymers (such as sponge and α-methyl methyl cellulose).
Pure monomer resin is widely compatible with various polymers, including: SBR, SBC (SEBS, SIS, SBS), acrylic resin, EVA and neoprene, etc. Therefore, PMR can make a variety of formulations, for example, from adhesives and sealants to wax products. Mixed in adhesives, for example, new monomer resins can improve the application of SBC to balance viscosity, influence and heat resistance.
In the plastic modification system, pure resin is used to improve processing properties (i.e. fluidity), improve mechanical properties (i.e. tensile strength and toughness) and elasticity. PMR migrates to the PS phase in SEBS, before bonding. Physical cross-linking strengthens the styrene phase, thereby enhancing its essence in PS.
