Bath make-up:

1 Reagent :1, potassium fluoride: 20%

2, phenolphthalein indicator 1%

3, sodium hydroxide standard solution :1.0N  

2 Analysis of free sulfuric acid in oxidation tank solution  

(a) Analytical procedures  

Take 5mL of oxidation tank solution into a 250mL conical flask, add 50mL of pure water, shake well.  Add 20% potassium fluoride solution 10- 15mL, add 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, titrate with 1.0N sodium hydroxide standard solution until colorless turns pink  

Points.  Read the ml V1 of sodium hydroxide standard solution consumed.  

(b) Calculation: H2SO4(g/ L)=9.8×V1×NnaOH  

3 Analysis of total acid concentration  

(a) Analytical procedures  

Take 5mL of oxidation tank solution into a 250mL conical flask, add 50mL pure water, drop 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, and use 1N hydrogen  

The end point was to titrate the standard solution of sodium oxide until the test solution turned from colorless to pink and did not fade for 30 seconds.  Reading consumes hydrogen and oxygen  

Milliliters of a standard solution of sodium hydroxide, V2.  

(b) Calculation: total acid concentration (g/L) =9.8×V2×NnaOH  

4 Analysis of aluminum ions  

According to the number of milliliters of sodium hydroxide standard solution consumed by free sulfuric acid V1 and millimetres of sodium hydroxide standard solution consumed by total acid  

The concentration of aluminum ions in the bath can be calculated by liters V2.  

Al3+ (g/L) =1.8× (V1-V2) ×NnaOH   

Explanation:

• Please clean up the sundries at the bottom of the tank in time, which is beneficial to the extension of the life of the bath solution. Or replace the bath solution according to the actual situation.
