Atrazine is a selective preseedling and postseedling herbicide. It is mainly absorbed by roots, with little absorption by stems and leaves, which is rapidly transmitted to plant meristem and leaves, interfering with photosynthesis and causing weeds to die. In resistant crops such as corn, it is decomposed by corn ketase to produce non-toxic substances, so it is safe for crops. Atrazine is highly water-soluble, and its mobile Chemicalbook in the soil is greater than that of simazine. It is easy to be leached to a deeper layer by rain, resulting in an inhibitory effect on certain deep-rooted weeds and can be decomposed by microorganisms in the soil. During the period, depending on the dosage of the drug, soil texture and other factors, it can last for about half a year. It is suitable for controlling annual and biennial broadleaf weeds and monocotyledonous weeds in corn, sorghum, woodland, grassland, sugarcane, etc. |
