 Overview

*The Totally enclosed Lifeboat/Rescue boat is manufactured with compliance with the(amendments to the SOLAS, 1974), MSC218.(82),MSC226.(82),MSC272.(85)and MSC274.(85).

*The hull/canopy of lifeboat is made of the fire reinforced plastic(F.R.P.—fire retardant ). The space between the inside and outside hull/canopy is filled with polyurethane foam which will supply sufficient buoyancy for the boat.

*The boat will be afloat with the help of the foam even the part of boat underneath the water damaged.

*The fully loaded boat will be self-righted when the boat turn over to any angle. This type of boat is used for the life-saving and rescue on the sea.

Totally Enclosed Lifeboats

All boats and davit systems are developed conform with LSA regulations laid down by the International Maritime Organization. The current portfolio of lifeboats covers a whole range of different models:

ACEBI’s totally enclosed lifeboats are designed and tested in accordance with the latest IMO/SOLAS regulations (MED 96/98 EC). Two versions are available, tanker or conventional.

Conventionnal & Tanker version

This solution is the best in matter of safety in bad sea conditions. It’s also the most compact one for merchant ships.Tanker version are specifically developed to resist to extreme heat and to give optimal safety in an oil or gas fire environment. They are equiped with an external water spray system.

All boats are fitted with European standard equipment, with engines made by the largest lifeboat engine maker in the world, BUKH, and electrical charging system from DEFA. Steel qualities are either galvanized, AISI 304 or AISI 316, depending on equipment exposure. Notifying body: Bureau Veritas (others on request).

ACEBI lifeboats are certified with the latest LSA Code as amended With New hooks approved according resolution MSC.320 (89) and resolution MSC.321 (89)

 Fast Rescue Boats

ACEBI’s fast rescue boats can be supplied with both outboard petrol and inboard diesel engines. The boats have high-speed hulls, achieving speed up to 35 knots.

Rescueboats are excellent for man-overboard recovery, for fast transportation of personnel, anchoring and mooring operations… When urgent intervention is required, our Fast Rescueboats are well adapted. Rescueboats davits are designed specifically to permit a fast lauching in hard working conditions.

Conventional Type LifeboatIn an emergency escape, for vessels up to 85m in length should carry lifeboats in compliance with the IMO rules. Conventional Type Lifeboat is the type that is stored on both sides of the vessel.

Rescue boat is placed on stern of the vessel of mother vessel.
