Grapefruit extract comes from the dried skin of mature or near mature grapefruit. Naringin can block the free radical chain reaction of pyrophenylpropanol self oxidation, that is, naringin has antioxidant effect. It can also be used as raw material for the synthesis of new sweeteners with high sweetness, non-toxic and low energy, dihydronaringin chalcone and new sweeteners. Hesperidin chalcone can inhibit ocular aldose reductase. It can also be used to treat large pores, mixed skin and oily skin. It is one of the main raw materials for cosmetics and perfume.
