What is blue light?

Blue light is a potentially harmful, high energy visible light that naturally comes from the sun but is also emitted from digital devices. With our increasing reliance on these devices, our exposure to blue light has been higher.
Studies have shown that harmful blue light has a detrimental effect on vision. Our exposure to these harmful blue light may also cause a myriad of other health problems.

Functions of anti blue lenses

Anti blue light lenses can block harmful high-energy blue light, coming from digital devices like smartphones and computers, from entering the eyes. These help to sharpen the vision and can also prevent eye strain from prolonged screen viewing.

What is HMC coating (AR coating)?

HMC is hard multi coating, also called AR coating (AR is anti-reflective). It is a very thin but hard film (or treatment) which is applied over the lenses.
AR coating can eliminate bright reflections of light and decrease the light halos which can hamper the clarity of vision, it can ensure a durable and lasting eyewear experience.
