What is inside a xenon bulb?

The xenon lamp contains two electrodes enclosed in a glass bulb filled with xenon gas. High voltage is applied to the electrodes, which momentarily releases sparks to create light flash. The xenon arc has the advantage of being spectral closer to daylight than the incandescent source.

How long do flash tubes last?

A properly designed and manufactured flash tube can last for millions of cycles, much longer than you will keep the camera, as shutters are rated to last only 100,000 - 300,000 cycles. Degradation of the flash tube - through ablation and sputter - is usually slow and minor.

Application of Xenon Tube

Xenon arc lamp, commonly known as xenon lamp.The xenon gas is charged into the quartz bulb of the bulb, and when the current passes, it discharges within the distance between the poles, resulting in a color temperature of about 5800K,which is close to the continuous spectrum of natural light.
The instantaneous brightness of this xenon lamp is very high, the price is economical, and the service life is long.
Scene: often used by film and television crews to shape a large area of light source, simulating sunlight and moonlight.
