General Description of Tug Boat
Our tug boats are mainly used for pushing, towing, assisting all kinds of large vessels to enter and leave the port, berthing and leaving the dock, turning around etc. in the near navigation area (non ice area) and port waters, as well as to mobilize the berths, repairing ships in and out of dock, assisting trial sailing, etc., and the stability meets the requirements in the near sea navigation area. Our tug boats are characterized by strong structure, good stability, high main engine power, large traction and good maneuverability.
The tug boat can undertake the follow tasks:

Ship Building Site
There are at least 10 slipways, which can produce multiple ships of different types at the same time.

Workshops with different types of work, have blanking workshop, machining workshop, anti-corrosion workshop, general assembly workshop, product debugging and testing center before factory etc.

The boats are equipped with world famous powerful Cummins, Caterpillar, Weichai, Yuchai etc. engine, which are famous for it’s durability, environmental protection, lower consumption, standardized accessories and easy maintenance. The engine brands are all global warranty, spare parts can be available in short time.
Hull
The boat hull can be an integral structure or split structure according to the model requirements.
And it is sandblasted and painted by 4 layers of marine epoxy paint suitable for saltwater service. The zinc anode can be used to give better anti-corrosion function.
All boats are made of special marine steel plates, which have been certified by CCS.

Water testing center
Our company has a unique dredger water testing center.
Every finished barge will be tested in the testing center to make sure its good working condition. Each equipment installed on the
barge will be tested so as to guarantee they could be work normally.

All of the products from Hikos will be tested in the testing center before dismantle to the Port. This is for performance testing and safety testing which like the products are working in the work site.

Each barge is detachable structure to facilitate truck transportation on land. Depending on the size, some models of barge can be disassembled and transported through containers, some models can be disassembled and transported through bulk carriers. Simple disassembly and fast installation.
