1. Hot-dip zinc coating (Z)
In hot dip galvanizing production line, the pretreated strip of steel immersed in molten zinc to obtain a coating. Zinc content in
molten zinc liquid should not be less than 99%.
2. Hot-dip zinc-iron alloy coating (ZF)
In hot dip galvanizing production line, the pretreated strip of steel immersed in molten zinc to obtain a coating. Zinc content in
molten zinc liquid should not be less than 99%. Subsequently, a zinc-iron alloy layer is formed on the entire coating by alloying
process, and the iron content of the alloy coating is usually 7 ~ 15%.
3. Interstitial free Steels
Interstitial atom steel is a kind of steel in which carbon and nitrogen interstitial atoms are completely fixed into carbon and
nitrogen compounds by adding appropriate amount of titanium or niobium into ultra-low carbon steel.
4. High Strength Interstitial Free Steels (Y)
The plastic strain ratio (R value) and strain hardening index (N value) of steel were improved by controlling the chemical
composition of steel. Due to the solution strengthening of the elements in the steel and the microstructure of the interstitial
atoms, this steel has both high strength and excellent cold forming properties, and is usually used to make complex parts
requiring deep stamping.
5. Bake hardening steels（B）
A certain amount of solution carbon and nitrogen atoms can be retained in low or ultra-low carbon steel, and the strength can be
improved by adding phosphorus, manganese and other solution strengthening elements. After forming, the yield strength of the steel
is further increased due to age hardening after baking at certain temperature.
6. High strength Low alloy Steels (LA)
In low carbon steel or ultra low carbon steel, by single or compound addition of niobium, titanium, vanadium and other
microalloying elements, the formation of carbon and nitrogen compound particles precipitation for strengthening, at the same time,
through the micro-alloying elements refining grain effect, to obtain higher strength.
7. Dual Phase Steels (DP)
The microstructure of steel is mainly ferrite and martensite, and martensite is distributed on ferrite matrix in island form.
Dual-phase steel is one of the materials of structural parts with low yield ratio, high work hardening index and baking hardening
value.
8. Transformation induced plasticity steels（TR）
The microstructure of steel is ferrite, bainite and residual austenite, among which the content of residual austenite is not less
than 5%. During the forming process, the retained austenite can be transformed into martensite structure with high work hardening
rate, uniform elongation and tensile strength. Compared with the same tensile strength of dual-phase steel, it has higher
elongation.
9. Complex Phase Steels (CP)
The microstructure of steel is mainly ferrite and/or bainite. Small amounts of martensite, retained austenite, and pearlite
structures are usually distributed on ferrite and/or bainite substrates. Microalloying elements Ti or Nb can be added to form
grain refinement or precipitation strengthening effect. This steel has very high tensile strength. Compared with the same tensile
strength of dual-phase steel, its yield strength is obviously much higher. This steel has high energy absorption capacity and high
residual strain capacity.
10. Stretcher strain marks
Cold forming process, because of aging, steel plate or steel band appear uneven deformation, resulting in steel sheet or strip
plastic deformation, * * * will be in the steel plate or steel strip surface rendering and drawing direction at an Angle of a
series of parallel linear fold or irregular line, irregular surface distortion beneath the appearance quality of the surface
defects.
