ASTM A234 WP11 Pipe Fittings are made according to the ASTM A234 standard for the butt weld pipe fittings. The standard is international and there are different grades of materials in this standard that are being used to produce the pipe fittings. The WP11 is one of these standards which includes seamless pipes for high pressure and temperature applications.
ASME SA234 WP11 fittings are suitable for elevated temperature services such as power plant applications, boiler accessories, heat exchanger parts and other fittings that need to operate under high temperature.
ASTM A234 WP11 Fittings is highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion. The A234 WP11 is a grading of the A234 material. The A234 WP11 Fittings are manufactured from a single piece of alloy material and therefore cannot be supported with porosity. They are highly resistant to crevice corrosion attack, pitting corrosion, corrosion stress cracking and acidity. These are used in especially high pressure applications. The A234 WP11 material is used to produce many different products. Among the ASTM A234 WP11 products, the ASTM A234 Gr WP11 Fittings are the most common. The pipe fittings are components used in piping to connect different fittings or pipes together.
