Triacetin For Cigarette Filter Rods Making Plasticizer.
Application:
Triacetin (C9H14O6), also known as glyceryl triacetate. Triacetin is widely used for Cigarettes filter rods production. As Bonding plasticizers for Cigarettes filters of cellulose acetate fiber rods
To get a sufficient hardness target values for triacetin vary typically between approximately 6%~9% of the total filter
weight. The application takes place in a spraying chamber where triacetin is applied to the filter tow as an aqueous aerosol.
Different technical parameters of the spraying chamber, such as the number of brushes and their speed, are adjusted to achieve the most consistent application of triacetin.
We can supply high quality triacetin, certified ISO 9001, used in the tobacco and food industries. The standard packaging is in drums of 240kg each shipped into 20’ or 40’ containers. One 20’ Container contains 80 drums for a total net weight of 19.200 kg.
We can also provide IBC drums of 1150kg each.
FOOD GRADE TRIACETIN(CAS 102-76-1):
1. Tobacco industry (as plasticizer for cigarette filter rods)
2. Flavour and essences (as fixer)
3. Dairy goods (as emulsifier)
4. Food additive (such as in hard candy, butter and beverage)
5. Chewing gum (as plasticizer)
6. Adhesives (as non-phthalate plasticizer for waterborne adhesives)
7. Bakes goods (as stabilizer agent)
8. Cosmetics (as humectants) and nail polish (as plasticizer)
9. Pharmaceutical (as anti-fungal agent) and capsule coatings (as plasticizer)
10. Animal Feed
