 SINOPEC  SIS is styrene - isoprene block copolymer in the form of white porous particle or translucent compact particle, with features of good thermo-plasticity, high elasticity, good melt fluidity, good compatibility with tackifying resin, safe and non-toxic. It can be applied to the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, solvent cements, flexible printing plates, plastics and asphalt modification, and is the ideal raw materials of adhesives used to manufacture packing bags, sanitation supplies, double-sided adhesive tapes and labels.

The product is mainly used in packaging bags, medical fields, women’s sanitary napkins, double-sided tapes and oil-resistant labels, etc.; commonly used in adhesives, sealing materials, shoe materials, coatings, wire and cable sheaths, sealing rubber, general daily necessities, medical or food materials  Molding, jelly candles, transparent candles, etc., can also be used as a solvent for engineering plastics.  In addition, it is the main raw material for the preparation of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives.  Used in the soles of tires to help prevent slippage in rainy weather and improve safety.  It has both rubber and plastic properties, and its notable feature is strong adhesion.  SIS is the main raw material for hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, coatings, and solvent-based adhesives.
