Peristaltic pump is a kind of precision instrument. Compared with other pump products, peristaltic pump has become a rapidly developing positive displacement pump product.
The operation principle of peristaltic pump is very simple, just like squeezing a hose full of fluid with your finger, and moving the fluid in the pipe forward with your finger. The end driven pump is just this principle. The roller instead of the finger conveys fluid by alternately squeezing and releasing the elastic conveying hose of the pump. With the rolling of the roller, negative pressure is formed in the pipe, and the liquid flows with it. A section of pump pipe between the two rollers of the peristaltic pump forms a "pillow" shaped fluid. The volume of the "pillow" depends on the inner diameter of the pump pipe and the geometric characteristics of the roller. The flow depends on the rotational speed of the pump head, and the product of the three parameters: the size of the "pillow" and the number of "pillows" generated by each revolution of the rotor. For the same pump head, the size of "sleeper" is generally constant.
