This PABT material is a high crystalline thermoplastic plastic, with high viscosity; Excellent mechanical strength, high
elasticity, low water absorption, even in wet environment, low creep, stable size, good self-moistening, high wear resistance;
This material can be used for extrusion molding and is widely used in wire harness insulation, wire harness protective sleeve, loose tube of optical fiber cable and many kinds of extrusion tubes. PBT is a milky white translucent to opaque, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester. It has high heat resistance, can work under 140ºC for a long time, toughness, fatigue resistance, self-lubrication, low friction coefficient. It is not resistant to strong acids and alkalis, can resist organic solvents, is combustible and decomposes at high temperatures. Due to these excellent properties, it is widely used in the fields of automobile, mechanical equipment, precision instrument parts, electronic appliances, textile, etc. Most of PBT resins are processed into blends, which can be modified by various additives and blended with other resins to obtain good overall performance of heat resistance, flame retardancy, electrical insulation and good processing performance.
