Production workshop
Seamless pipe production process includes blank rolling preparation, tube heating, perforation, rolling, size reduction, cold steel pipe, steel pipe cutting end, section, straightening, flaw detection, manual inspection, spray label printing, bale packaging and other basic procedures.
The production methods of seamless steel pipes are roughly divided into cross rolling (Monesmann method) and extrusion. The cross rolling method is to pierce the tube blank with the cross roll first, and then extend it with the rolling mill. This method is fast in production, but requires high processability of tube blank. It is mainly applicable to the production of carbon steel and low alloy steel tubes.
The extruding method is to pierce the tube blank or ingot with a piercing machine, and then extrude it into a steel pipe with an extruding machine. This method is less efficient than the cross rolling method, and is suitable for the production of high-strength alloy steel pipes.
