Application
Barrier structures containing EVOH resin are used in all hard and flexible packaging and in all types of food processing including asepsis, heat injection and press-cooking. Products packaged with EVOH materials include: condiments (soy sauce), tomato sauces, juices, edible batter, meat products, cheese products and processed fruits. Non-food applications include solvents, chemicals, and packaging of pharmaceutical-related products. Manufacturers OF motor VEHICLE FUEL TANKS, fuel lines AND air CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT ARE EVALUATING the USE of EVOH STRUCTURES TO reduce hydrocarbon and/or FREON emissions.
