Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose HPMC is a non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ether. It is widely used as a thickener, protective colloid, stabilizer, suspension aid and water retention agent in many industrial applications. It enhances water retention, in addition to providing balanced properties including open time, slip resistance,adhesion, good impact resistance and shear strength.
