1) What is Fragrance Oil?
- Fragrance oils are aromatic oils that are made from chemicals that are
synthetic or semi-synthetic and a portion of solvents (to meld the aromatic elements together)
2) Are they the same as Essential Oil?
- No they are not essential oils. Essential oils are usually derived from distillation or solvent process. Fragrance Oils are usually processed in the lab.
3) Is your fragrance oil pure?
- We repack the fragrance oil without diluting it. However, do note that some fragrance oils are softer than others, this is due to their material. - However, it is important to note that our fragrance oils are very concentrated.
4) What is fragrance oils used for?
- Fragrance oils are usually used in product making. For example, they are used in making household products such as detergents, floor cleaners, dishwashing liquid, soaps etc. - It is also used in potpourri, home fragrance.
5) Can we use fragrance oils directly on the skin (without dilution) ?
- No, not encouraged, because our fragrance oils are concentrated and they may be drying to the skin if applied directly. Do not use undiluted. Recommended 2-3% only in product formulation.
6) Can we use fragrance oils in humidifiers & diffusers?
- Use at your own risk. - Why? Because some humidifiers have components that are easily meltable by oils. - You can do a small test first. Drop a few drops of fragrance oil onto a cotton ball, then drop the cotton ball into the tank. Observe the tank. If nothing happens, then you can consider to continue using the fragrance. However, if there are weird occurence, then stop using immediately.
