2023 new automatic and manual pull plate filter press machine for sewage treatment sludge dewatering
After concentration and digestion, the sludge still has a water content of about 95% to 97%, and its volume is still large. Sludge dewatering can further remove interstitial and capillary water in sludge, reduce its volume, and facilitate subsequent transportation and treatment.
Sludge filtration dehydration is driven by the pressure difference between two sides of the filter medium, which forces sludge water to pass through the filter medium to form filtrate, while solid particles are trapped on the medium to form filter cakes, thereby achieving the purpose of sludge dehydration.
Plate and frame filter press is the first machine used in chemical dehydration. Due to its advantages such as strong filtering driving force, high solid content of filter cake, clear filtrate, high solid recovery rate, it is still widely used in some sewage plants.

Working Principle
Our company's filter press is a technologically advanced separation machine that integrates mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. It consists of five main components: rack components, filter components (filter plate/frame, filter cloth), traction plate components, hydraulic components, and electrical control components. According to user requirements, liquid collection devices can be added.
RACK PART
Rack part is the main body of machine, in order to support the filtering mechanism, connect other components. It is mainly composed of thrust plate, press plate, oil cylinder and the main girder and other parts.
When working, the piston of oil cylinder push the press plate, press tight the filter plate and filter cloth between press plate and thrust plate, to ensure that the slurry with pressure in the filter chamber for pressure filtration.
FILTER PART
The filter component consists of filter plates in a certain order in the main beam and filter cloth between the filter plates, which are alternately arranged to form multiple independent filter units - filter chambers. When filtering is started, the feed liquid is pushed by the feed pump and enters the filter chamber through the feed port on the thrust plate. Filter the pressure generated by the feed pump. Due to the interception effect of the filter cloth, solid particles remain in the filter to form a filter cake chamber and filtrate flows out from the water nozzle or liquid valve.
