Degradation Description
1.Compost degradation
Under composting degradation conditions, full biodegradation can be achieved within 180 days, and the final products of degradation are carbon dioxide and water. Composting conditions are as follows:
(1)The temperature is 58±2℃
(2)The humidity is 98%
(3)There are certain microorganisms
2.Landfill Degradation Landfill conditions are different from composting conditions, so the degradation rate of PLA is relatively slow, which generally takes 2-5 years, but the degradation products do not pollute groundwater, do not damage plant growth, and do not waste arable land, and are still fully degraded in the end.
3. Incineration
The calorific value of combustion is small, and the products of complete combustion are carbon dioxide and water, which do not pollute the air.
