CGL-200 series portable ruler level meter is an economical deep well level meter with diameter of probe only 14mm. It is usually used to measure the water level in wells, boreholes and water level pipes. It is especially suitable for the observation of the groundwater level in hydropower projects or the manual inspection of the infiltration line of earth and stone DAMS.This instrument can be used during the construction period, also can be used for long-term safety monitoring of the project.

How to use it?

1, When measuring, press the power button after letting the reel rotate freely;

2, Put the probe into the water level tube, holding the ruler cable, and slowly move the probe down;

3, When the probe touches the surface of the water, the buzzer will emit a continuous beeping sound; 

4, Then, the depth dimension of the steel ruler cable will be the depth of water level.

Note:

A)  When the probe touches the water, the buzzer makes a sound, the indicator lights up, and the voltmeter hands turn. At this time, the ruler cable should be slowly laid, in order to carefully find the exact position of the pronunciation or indication of the moment after reading the depth of the point from the hole size;

B)  The accuracy of the reading depends on the timely judgment of the starting position of the buzzer or indicator, easily operating.
