Company Profile
Amaro Rubino Bio is a start-up and product of the liquor passion of Matteo Rubino, its creator. After several years of personal experimentation of the formula and passionate research, it made its market debut at the beginning of 2020. An artisanal herbal liqueur, produced in small batches, among the first in its category to have obtained organic certification. Made with local honey and botanicals that typically grow in the land between the lakes and the Lombardy and Piedmonte Alpine Foothills; with ingredients from organic and biodynamic agriculture. Its aroma is a complex but delicate floral and balsamic bouquet, with an alcohol content of 25 per cent.
In 2021, it was judged with a score of 91 out of 100 by the International Wine & Spirits Competition jury, and in April 2022, it won the Best Herb Liqueur in the World 2022 award by the British World Liqueur Awards. Between May and June of the same year, the product made its debut on the international market: it was exported to the USA and Australia and from 2023 also to Germany and France.
Amaro Rubino's 'green' philosophy is committed every day to reducing the impact of production processes and packaging on the environment.
