Spirogyra W.M.
A plant of the genus Spiraea in the family Dipteraceae. It is an individual with a multicellular filamentous structure, with a ribbon shaped chloroplast and a true nucleus that contains chlorophyll for photosynthesis; Algae are unbranched filamentous bodies connected by a row of cylindrical cells; There are many pectins on the surface of the algae.
