Pharmaceutical grade HPMC is a highly purified HPMC that meets the stringent quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry. It is used as an adhesive, thickener and disintegrator in tablet formulations and as a film agent in capsule coating. Pharmaceutical grade HPMC is available in a variety of viscosity grades ranging from 3 to 100 mPa-s and can be customized to specific formulation requirements.
