results in a significantly longer service life of the material.
The impact resistance and impact absorption energy of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene
are the first of plastics, and its impact strength is 10 times that of nylon, 20 times
that of polyvinyl chloride, and 4 times that of polyethylene. At low temperatures,
the impact strength of this material reaches its highest value.
