APPLICATION SELECTION
PAINTS & EMULSIONS
Thylocell® HEC is widely used in a variety of water based paints and Emulsions.
Used as a thickening and suspending agent, and stabilizer, it can improve expected performance for paints, colored pigments, emulsions, defamers, and preservatives.
The solutions thickened with HEC are of high rheological prosperity and pseudo-Plasticity under various shearing rates, good workability and leveling performance.

OIL DRILLING
In oil drilling industry, high viscosity HEC is used as a viscosififier in well completing or fifinishing flfluid; Low viscosity HEC is used as a water loss controller.In drilling, HEC can increase the sand carrying capability of the slurry and extend the service life of drill bits.
PERSONAL CARE/DETERGENTS
Thylocell® HEC can be used as a thickening agent, rheology controller, dispersing agent and emulsififier for personal care products such as shampoos, lotions, and pastes. It can be also used for detergent products such as washing powder, pastes, soaps and emulsions.
CONSTRUCTION
In construction applications, Thylocell® HEC can improve workability, water retention, and stability and increase thickening properties for Joint compounds, plasters,wall-putty, tile adhesive , and self-leveling compound.
