AR series multi-core backwash filter (AR filter for short) is a new type of self-cleaning filter with independent intellectual
property rights of Shanghai JCI Company. The AR filter integrates multiple slit-type filters. When the filter is clogged, it will
be reversed. The flushing arm will back flush the filter group by group. As a high-quality self-cleaning filter, AR filter is
specially designed for customers who take quality and reliability as an important consideration. It uses key components (such as filter screen, geared motor, self-cleaning control system, etc.) to be carefully designed.
The AR filter has outstanding advantages different from ordinary mesh self-cleaning filters. The 50-2000um filter adopts very sturdy and durable wedge-shaped filter elements, surface gaps, single-machine super large filtration area, low surface flow rate and fine filtration, single machine super large flow Up to 8000m3/h, it has high reliability and can handle the poorer water quality, such as sludge-like impurities, soft viscous impurities, higher impurity content, and a small amount of hair and fiber impurities.
The AR filter can filter out solid particles in various water and low-viscosity liquids (such as sea water, machined cooling

Working principle




Filtering process
The liquid flows in from the inlet of the filter, part of the liquid enters the filter directly from the lower end of the filter
element, and the other part enters the top of the filter from the middle branch pipe, and then flows in from the top of the filterscreen. The liquid flows in at the same time from the lower opening of the filter screen and passes through the filter screen. The inner surface converges and flows out at the outlet. The particulate impurities are intercepted on the inner surface of the filter screen and accumulate into a filter cake, which gradually increases the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet, indicating that the filter cake reaches its thickness, and the flux of the filter screen gradually decreases.
Backwashing process
When the set pressure difference or time is reached, the self-cleaning action starts, the decelerating motor drives the backwash rotating arm to aim at one or a group of filter screens, the upper end of the filter screen is sealed, the lower end is connected to the cleaning nozzle, and the backwash valve is opened. The filter screen is connected with the sewage pipe, and the pressure difference between the outside of the filter screen and the sewage outlet drives the filtered clear liquid to flow in the reverse direction to flush the filter cake on the inner surface of the filter screen and discharge it into the sewage pipe. After the backwashing of one filter element/group is completed, close the backwash valve, and aim the cleaning rotating arm at the next filter/group for backwashing. All filters are backwashed one by one/group.




The deceleration motor drive shaft is equipped with a positioning plate and a cleaning rotating arm. Each positioning hole on the positioning plate corresponds to each filter screen. The cleaning rotating arm corresponds to one of the positioning holes. When the positioning hole reaches the sensing channel of the positioning sensor, The positioning sensor output signal causes the motor to stop rotating, the cleaning rotor has been aligned with a filter element, the backwash valve is opened and closed after a few seconds, the cleaning is completed, the motor continues to run, the positioning sensor is turned on again by the next positioning hole, and the motor stops and cleans The next filter element.
