Product Description
S301 can be used as an additive for cement-based products, gypsum based products, and gray calcium based products. It has good compatibility with other building admixtures. When used in combination with methyl cellulose ether, S301 can have a thickening effect, promote internal structure, have better crack resistance, anti sagging properties, and improve workability. The higher the proportion of methyl cellulose ether added, the greater the viscosity of composite materials such as mortar, binder, plastering, and interface agent. The addition of S301 can significantly reduce the amount of cellulose ether added.

Dry mortar.
Avebe’s dry mortar additives increase consistency, reduce stickiness and extend the open time of plasters and tile adhesives.These starches are well used in gypsum plasters, cement tile adhesives, masonry mortars, joint compounds and many other dry mortar products.
Tile adhesive.
Casucol™ and Opagel™ starch ethers are essential dry mortar additives formulated in thin bed cement tile adhesives according to European Standards. These adhesives prevent tile slip while improving workability and extending the open time.
Admixtures for concrete.
Our starch based self-levelling products prevent segregation and sedimentation without affecting plastic viscosity and flow.
Additives gypsum plaster.
The Casucol™, Opagel™ and Solvitose™ brands are Avebe’s rheology modifiers and thickeners. Special grades are available for each specific application including gypsum mortars, joint fillers, skim coating, crack filler, and spray-on plasters.
