Product Description
Feline Herpesvirus Detection Kit(Real-Time PCR Method)
This kit is suitable for detecting feline herpes virus in samples from the throat, eyes, nasal secretions or ulcer wounds of felines, and is used for the auxiliary diagnosis of feline herpes virus infection.
Feline herpes virus (FHV-1) is a large virus (100~130nm in diameter) with an envelope and double-stranded DNA. It multiplies in the nucleus and forms intranuclear inclusion bodies. Feline herpes virus is extremely unstable in acidic conditions and is very sensitive to heat, ether, chloroform, formalin and phenol. It does not survive for more than 12 hours in a dry environment, so the virus is quite fragile in the environment and can be effectively disinfected with ordinary disinfectants.
Product Principle
This kit uses TaqMan probe real-time fluorescence PCR technology, designs a pair of primers specific to the conserved region of feline herpesvirus gene, and combines a specific probe to amplify and detect the DNA of the conserved region of feline herpesvirus gene in vitro by fluorescence PCR technology, which is used for the etiological diagnosis of suspected infected materials in clinic.

Product Features：
1.Accurate and rapid virus detection with high sensitivity.
2.Lyophilized bottles are packed to avoid errors in experimental results caused by repeated freezing and thawing, and to avoid the loss of highly viscous components such as enzymes.
3.Transported and stored at room temperature, it has extremely strong stability withstanding high temperatures of 55°C for 30 days. It does not require cold chain and reduces transportation costs.
4.One-step use, no need to wait for room temperature to melt, no system configuration required, just add the appropriate amount of nucleic acid.
