Introduction of electrostatic separator:
Hengchang high tension electrostatic separator uses 50HZ, 380V AC. To keep the machine working safety and stability, the installation should meet the following requirements.φ120(φ220,φ165)×1500 double Roller Electrostatic Separator Equipment is one of the major equipment in Electrostatic Separation Process mineral separation. It is widely used in sorting titanium, zirconium, rutile, monazite, iron, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, tin and other precious minerals. It can separate material which's particle size is from 0.1 to 2 mm and surface temperature is less than 1% of itself. It often works well with the single-disc magnetic separator and permanent magnetic sorting machine in the process of sorting ilmenite, zircon ore and other minerals.
Electrical Separation is to electrify wire electrodes with very small diameter with high-voltage direct current to produce corona electric field in the space between corona electrode and grounding electrode. The entire space close to the grounding electrode carries negative charge (positive grounding) at the time and the mineral aggregates have the same chance to obtain electric s while passing through the corona electric field. However, due to different conductivity of minerals, they receive different electricity in the electric field and carry away different electric charges so that ore sands fall along different tracks in the electric field. In this way, good separation conditions are created for minerals with good, medium and no conductivity.

Introduction of High Voltage ARC Plate Electrostatic Separator Machine:
ARC Electric Separation under the electric intensity and gravity force based on the difference of minerals in their conductivity and the variation of electrostatic force applied on these minerals when the pass through the electric field.
It is suitable to separation of conductive mineral and non-conductive mineral,thus to obtain high-grade conductive concentrates and non-conductive concentrates,e.g. rutile ore and zircon ore. It may be used in combination with single-disc separator,double-disc separator,permanent magnetic separator and electromagnetic separator.This machine is equipped with 0-45000 V high-voltage generator,so that it can also be used for separating the high-phosphorus ore or rutile ore that is difficult to separate.
Working Principle of Electric Separator:
1.Arc plate Electric Separator has a two-row structure with four floors per row. Grounding arc slides (stainless steel) are installed on each floor. On the top, there is a high-voltage electrostatic plate (aluminum) in the shape of an arc (which is adjustable). Separation of materials is achieved by combining a high-voltage corona electric field and a high-voltage electrostatic field in a composite electric field based on the differences in conductivity of materials. Electrostatic attraction is strengthened to a conductor, while repulsion is strengthened to a non-conductor. 2.As soon as the metal and non-metallic mixture is selected, crushed, and ground, it is lowered from the feed funnel to the cylinder, where it is rotated to bring it into the corona electric field between the high-voltage electrode and the grounding electrode of the cylinder. Under the action of centrifugal force and self-gravity brought by the rotating cylinder, the particles with good conductivity break away from the cylinder electrode and fall into the receiving groove of the conductor particles once they are in contact with the grounding electrode.
3.The charge carried by non-metallic or non-conductive particles with weak conductivity is difficult to transfer when they contact the cylinder. Various charges are attracted by each other, adsorb to the cylinder surface, fall into the non-conductive particle receiving groove when the cylinder rotates, and are then brushed by the round roller brush.
