Product Description
Porcine Respiratory and Reproductive Syndrome (PRRS) is a highly contagious disease of pigs caused by the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, which is classified as a Category II infectious disease in China. The main clinical features of the disease are: anorexia, fever, sow abortion, stillbirth, weak and mummified fetuses, and breathing difficulties in pigs of all ages. Based on the differences in genotype and antigenicity, PRRSV is usually divided into European type and American type.
This kit is suitable for detecting porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus RNA in specimens such as lung, tonsil and oral swabs, and whole blood, and is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus infection.

Product Principle
This kit uses a pair of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus-specific primers combined with a specific fluorescent probe to perform in vitro amplification and detection of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus RNA using one-step fluorescent RT-PCR technology, and is used for clinical etiological diagnosis of suspected infected samples.
Sensitivity: The lowest detection limit of the kit is ≤500copies/mL.
Specificity: The specificity is 100%, and it can accurately detect porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus. For other viruses with similar clinical symptoms, the test results were negative.
Repeatability: Repeat the test on the sample, the difference between batches is ≤3%, and the difference within the batch is ≤3%.
