Cellulose Casing



The main raw material of Vicel cellulose casings is derived from natural cellulose rich in trees and cotton short wool (cotton byproduct). After a series of complex esterification reactions, a seamless tubular thin film cellulose derivative is generated, which is widely used in the production of tubular sausage casings, and is an ideal green and environmentally friendly packaging material for sausage food. Because the casing needs to be peeled off before eating the sausage, it is also called "skin casing" or "skin casing".

 1  Clear Casing

 2  Stripes Casing
Striped casings, which help to improve the identification of casings, are used to check whether the casings have been completely removed from the sausage during the peeling process. Striped casings usually come in black, blue and red stripes.


 3  Color Casing
According to customers' needs, various colors of dyed casings have been developed. This kind of product is represented by smoke color, especially suitable for some non-fumigating products without peeling. Stained casings have the advantage of increasing the identification of casings and helping to detect possible debris residues.


 4  Transfer Color Casing
Based on the habits and preferences of some countries and regions, the color of the transfer casing can be transferred to the outer surface of the sausage during the cooking process, forming a bright color on the surface of the sausage, achieving the effect of dyeing, and improving the consumer's perception and appetite. Common color choices are red and orange. The dyes used in the casing are all food grade and comply with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.


 5  Printed Casing
Due to the non-breathability of the printing color, the printed casings can leave printed patterns on the surface of the sausage when smoked, so as to bake brand logos, trademarks and other brand logos on the sausage, which has an incomparable advantage in enhancing the brand image of the sausage. The printing pattern can be customized to support single or double sided printing, and support the re-printing of clear casings or colored casings.
