A1: Some models are Unidirectional and others Bidirectional. Both for the foam and steel body versions.
Q2 : Can pigs pass through 90° bends?
A2 : Yes. All types of pigs are designed to pass through curves with a 3D minimum radius.Some models are designed to go up to 1.5D. Just specify it in the notes.
Q3 : How many kilometers can a pig travel?
A3 : It depends on the internal state of the pipe. Pigs can travel up to 150 km with a single launch.
Q4 : How do you insert the pigs into the pipeline?
A4 : Pigs can be inserted with launch/receive chambers, called Traps, or manually.
Q5 : What materials can pig discs be made of?
A5 : Both the discs and the seals are made of polyurethane.
Q6 : How can I handle large diameter pigs?
A6 : The pigs can be lifted and moved with special trolleys and Jib Cranes, available on the shop in standard sizes or designed and built to measure according to the customer's specific request.
