The scalding pot has a volume of 55 l and is intended for 3-5 hens per workflow. The powerful heating element has 1,800 W so the water quickly reaches the desired temperature, for chickens it will be 60 - 65 °C. The removable basket for poultry is made of stainless steel and measures 29 x 29 x 51 cm.

The temperature must be adapted to the size of the poultry. This is done with the rotary knob which can be set up to 85 °C. For most bird species, a temperature of 60 - 70 °C is sufficient. The thermostat ensures that the selected temperature is maintained constantly.

Easier picking after scalding

The poultry picker is of high quality and can per drumming pick 5-6 chickens. The drum measures 60 cm in diameter. In a poultry production, it gives an enormous capacity of 270 kg per hour. The drum is made of food-grade stainless steel and is driven by a motor with 3300 W and a speed of 1,440 rpm. On the inside of the drum are 184 grooved rubber fingers that pluck the feathers and at the same time spare the birds' skin.

In addition to the feathers, the rubber fingers also remove impurities from the bird's skin. The plucked feathers slide out below and end up in a container. It is possible to connect a water hose and flush out the plucked feathers.
The machine is easy to transport on the four wheels. Two of the wheels have chocks for safe parking. The solid material means that the machine can withstand being used every day in agriculture and by chicken breeders.
