Our primary focus is on "Seto-yaki" (pottery from Seto in Aichi Prefecture) and "Mino-yaki" (pottery from the Tono area in Gifu Prefecture), which are the foremost places in Japan for making pottery.
We craft and propose designs for pieces that "makes the everyday act of eating more enjoyable."
Seto-yaki:
Seto-yaki refers to ceramics made in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, as well as in other areas around there. This process of producing pottery makes full use of various glazes, which has continued to captivate numerous people throughout the ages.
Specialties: Delicately subtle appearance of the glaze, relief and shape.
Mino-yaki:
Mino-yaki refers to pottery made in the Tono area of Gifu Prefecture. It has become the production hub for ceramics in Japan, with more than half of all ceramics and porcelain in Japan being made here.
Specialties: Casual tableware that can be used on a daily basis. We also excel at making lightweight tableware, as well as mass production depending on the item.
