Installation Instructions

Easy application

Special tools, special know-how or specific adhesive – nothing of the sort is required when applying the decorative foils from
LAUFEN. After all, they adhere all by themselves. If you have scissors, a pencil and a ruler at hand, you’re well equipped for
cutting. If you want to simplify application even more, you can use the LAUFEN application set that includes a cutter knife and
doctor blade.

Easy cleaning

Once the foil is in place, most of the work is over. Now it’s just a matter of proper care. Cleaning is very easy, as standard
cleaning agents can be used. Warm water with a little washing-up liquid as a mild soapy solution works best. It’s easy to wipe
down the foil with this. Damp spots should be rubbed dry with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed using alcohol-based
cleaners.

Heat resistance

If organic shapes need to be covered with the foil, this too is no problem at all. To cover the relevant object, the foil can be
heated and stretched. It can easily withstand temperatures of up to 70 °C for short periods.

Removable without residues

You’re no longer happy with the design? No problem. The adhesive foils from d-c-fix can also be removed again without leaving any
residues – the easiest way to do this is to heat the foil slightly with a hair dryer.

Processing adhesive films from LAUFEN step by step

1. Measure the surface and cut the film to size.
2. Peel off approx. 10 cm of backing paper and place the film on the edge of the object.
3. Press the film on lightly.
4. Continue to peel off the backing paper step by step.
5. At the same time, press the film on with a squeegee to avoid air bubbles.
