Backlit letter sign description
LED backlit signs works well both indoors & outdoors, whether day or night, the excellent halo effect makes your sign always be the focus, fit for business, building and home. The amazing halo effect would make the 3D metal signs appear to “floating” on the wall, it’s so special, beautiful and eye-catching. It also be called as LED halo lit signs or LED reverse channel sign, it’s individual and 3D, only the back-panel is lighted. It is one of the most common LED illuminated signs, be widely used exterior and interior.

What is Reverse-Lit or Reverse Channel Letter Signs
1)Reverse-lit channel letter signs allow light to escape from the back of the sign to produce a glowing effect around the edge.
2)The face of the reverse-lit channel sign must be composed of opaque stainless steel so that the light inside doesn’t escape. Opposite of the standard, the backing of the sign will use clear acrylic material which allows the LED light to escape, this, in turn, produces that halo effect around the letter shape.
3)The lights are mounted on the back and point towards the face. However, since the face is stainless steel, the light bounces off and out the clear, acrylic backing. It is necessary for reverse-lit channel letters to stand off the wall at least 1” to allow light to escape in an even pattern.
Note: Since there is more stainless steel used and more welding, the cost can be slightly higher than front-lit letter sign .

A:LED technology has come a very long way and we rarely see them burning out. If anything, over time, it’s usually the power adapter that needs to be replaced and this can be done very easily.
Q:Would you recommend turning the sign off when I leave the office OR is it fine to keep it on continuously?
A:It is best practice to have your sign on a timer allowing it to turn off at night. Using a timer to strategically turn off the sign will greatly extend the life of your sign.
