The measurements quoted in the heatsink  were obtained in Renxin.Thermal  laboratories under the following conditionsm, Heatsink anodised matt black and  arranged vertically,One heat source(CXB3590) in the centre of heatsink, Temperature measured between the adjacent ,

surface of LED Source  and heatsink,

Surrounding temperature measured at a distance of 1 metre (cabinet 1m )  from object , The measurements are stated as temperature increases resulting from power input for different watts . 
The thermal resistance for the relevant power input is calculated and summarised in an 

adjoining curve These curve demonstrate how the thermal resistance depends on the level of power input.
