Yuan Tong Dismantling joints are designed to compensate for axial displacement of a pipe during installation and dismantling. This provides for easy installation and disassembly of flanged pipework and fittings or flanged equipment such as valves, meters and pumps.Features
* Compensates for axial displacement of eqipment in a pipe line during installation and dismantling as the telescopic action between the inner and outer flange bodies allows for longitudinal adjustment* Designed with three flanges connected with tightening rods; the centre flange applies compression on the seal through the rods
* 50 mm axial adjustment
* Ductile iron coated with fusion bonded epoxy
* Tightening rods of zinc plated and passivated 8.8 steel
Application
Yuan Tong Dismantling Joints allow easy installation and removal of valves from the pipeline, in case of maintenance or replacement of the valve. By the help of studs and nuts, face to face dimension of the Dismantling Joint can be adjusted so that enough gap is created for valve installation or removal.
