How to Choose the Type of Steerer TubeTapered Tube:Tapered steerer tubes are wider at the bottom (usually 1.5 inches) and narrower at the top (typically 1 1/8 inches).
Straight Tube:
It only be compatible with a straight steerer tube. Straight tubes are typically 1 1/8 inches in diameter from top to bottom.
