Sheikh Abdul Rauf started distillation and manufacturing of perfumes back in 1880 in Kannauj.
The legacy of over a 100 years was transferred from the grandfather to grandson Late Mr. Obaidul Rab Raufi (1956 to 2018). He laid the foundation of Glorious Perfumes in 1985, He was a Visionary, a pioneer, an entrepreneur, a humanitarian and a leader of outstanding quality, he is the pillar of Glorious Group. Late Mr. Obaidul Rab Raufi was born on 10.01.1956 to Mr. Abdul Rab & Mrs. Khateja Begum, a leading manufacture family of the old town of Kannauj (India).
At a young age he started shouldering major responsibilities in the establishment of Perfumes.. His vision and entrepreneurial acumen turned the Glorious Group into an industrial colossus of India & Overseas. His exceptional work in varied fields won him
many award like Yuva Rattan Award, Vikas Jyoti Award, Industrial Excellence Award etc.. He showed others how a vast empire of Perfumes Industry can be established with dedication by a single generation.
Late Mr. Obaidul Rab Raufi has two sons Mr. Saif ullah Raufi & Mr. Mohammad Abubakar Raufi . This generation has taken all the responsibility on their shoulder & carried the family legacy to the top by following the old traditional ways to inventing and implementing the modern methods.
