In polyethylene production processes using technologies such as Unipol, Ineos, and Univation, significant amounts of ethylene monomer, heavy hydrocarbons (e.g., butene, pentane), and nitrogen are present in the off-gases from polymerization and resin degassing stages. Efficient handling and recovery of these gases are crucial for improving resource utilization and environmental protection. This system employs Wobo’s membrane separation technology and turbine expansion cryogenic technology to achieve high-efficiency gas recovery and purification.

Ethylene and Heavy Hydrocarbons Recovery: The system utilizes membrane separation technology to extract ethylene monomer and heavy hydrocarbons from the mixed gases. The selective permeation characteristics of the membrane enable high-concentration ethylene and heavy hydrocarbons to form on the permeate side, while other gases are concentrated on the retentate side.
Recovery Efficiency:The system can effectively recover more than 80% of ethylene monomer and over 90% of heavy hydrocarbons (e.g., butene, pentane).
