Jerky
We created a kombu snack that you can eat out of the package like beef jerky.
The kombu it is made from is the root portion, called nekombu, and only a single one can be harvested from each plant. Nekombu is thick and the point from which the kombu grows, so it is more nutritious than any other part.
While it is a snack, the main appeal is its high nutritional value. Since it is thick, it is also very filling.
Why not try using it in vegan cuisine?
There are two types, Original and Hot & Spicy, which is the Original flavor coated with chili pepper. The base Original has a sweet flavoring.
It is thick, but steamed until soft and tender before drying, so the texture is easy to chew rather than tough.
It is our own original product of a kind you do not often see from our competitors, so please give it some consideration.
We also have shiitake mushroom jerky. It has a sweet flavoring as well.
